"Functional Vision Assesment for MDVI children" In march 2011, the specialists from "Little Light" Project were trained by Roxana Cziker (special education teacher at the School for the Blind from Cluj) in functional vision assessment for MDVI children using dr. Lea Hyvarinen battery of test.
Summer School Specialists from "Little Light" Project organized and sustained the workshop "Augmentative and alternative communication for MDVI children" in June 2010 and other 2 workshops "Curriculum for MDVI children" and "Developing integrated activities for MDVI children" in June 2011 at the Summer School from Cluj-Napoca organized by the Special Education Department of "Babeş-Bolyai" University from Cluj in cooperation with Perkins International, SUA and Sense International (România).
Experience exchanges between different serices providers
Teachers Experience Exchange, Zagreb, Croatia
Specialists from „Little Light” Project visited Early Intervention Center- „Mali Dom” from Zagreb, Croatia in february 2010 and gathered information and knowledge about vision assessment of MDVI children, speech therapy, musictherapy, rehabilitation and emotional therapy – dog therapy.
Teaching practice for university students
During the school year students from University of Special Education from Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca did their teaching practice in "Little Light" Project working with MDVI children under the supervision of the specialists.
