» Music

Childrens feelings, emotions and behaviors are managed through senses. Music is used as a mean to communicate, to express feelings, moods, etc. Musictherapy promotes social interaction and encourages children to express their feelings, develops functional speech and communication skills, facilitates relaxation, promotes independence, self esteem and motivates to physical activity and movement.

When the motor skills of a child are improving and the child is able to control his body movement and the environment, he is able to learn more and new skills and abilities independently.

Some of the activities used in music clases are: use of the musical instruments in order to reproduce the rythm of a song; exploring music instruments, „making up” a new song, participating at games with music and movement, etc;
