The activities provided by the „Little Light” Project take place daily, for a period of 3 hours and they are organized in individual and group activities, following a unit based curriculum („Spring”, „Things that grow”, „Animals”, etc.)
This activity is meant to develop and engage the students curiosity and interest for different aspects of the environment through active involvement, exploration and observation.
The students will identify plants and flowers through different senses like smell and touch, will learn about the process of growth by planting seeds and watching the flowers grow.
They will also be involved in different ecological activities about the environment, like recycling in order to learn how to love and respect the earth, fieldtrips to parcs, woods, market place, farms, etc.
