The idea of the project was born from the principle of "educationa for all, education for each and every single person". The main goal of the project is to increase the quality of life for the children with visual impairment and additional disabilities through the extension of the educational services and the support offered in the process of their inclusion in the community life, as active members of the society.
Through the project 20 MDVI children benefit of educational - rehabilitaion and compensatory services and the project offered also psychological services - counselling and support for the families of those children.
Qualitative services in this project were offered through the continue development and training of the specialist from the team- 6 educational psychologists, as follows:
scholarships for 9 months in Educational Leadership Program, Perkins International, from Perkins School for the Blind, Watertown, MA, USA;
Experience exchange between professionals working with MDVI children from different
Summer Schools for professionals from the field of special education organized by Babes Bolyai University from Cluj together with Perkins International USA and Sense International (România);
Different training for the specialists - "Functional visual assessment of MDVI children"
Other national and international seminars, conferences, lectures, workshops;
